Waste lying by the roadside is a common site in our cities across the country, the foul odour from the putrefying waste bothers all those who pass by, the toxic liquid that leaches out pollutes the environment and yet there appears to be no working solution. Dr Kabir Udeshi believed this was unacceptable and set out to design and build a machine that could treat the wet biodegradable waste and convert it into useful by-products. This was the beginning of what is today Flycatcher Technologies LLP.

Our patented Rhino Digester System processes all biodegradable waste and converts it into immediately usable biogas and organic fertilizer.

ABOUT

Since 2013, Flycatcher Technologies LLP has been a pioneer working to meet the urgent need for waste management. We provide waste processing technology, equipment and services for individual urban homes and organizations such as restaurants, hotels and cafeterias. We have 150+ households and 50+ commercial organizations who are using our products and services to process more than 5000 kg of waste every day. This equates to a daily mitigation of about 1250 kg of greenhouse gas emissions. The users not only enjoy a sanitary method for waste disposal but also get renewable bio-gas as cooking fuel and an organic plant growth promoter. Dr. Kabir J. Udeshi

Founder & CTO

An inventor who loves getting his hands diry creating elegant systems. This highly trained engineer has developed system from micro to mega, some of which are being used in the largest refineries in the world. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Pune and a Masters and Doctoral degrees from the University of Michi- gan, Ann Arbor. Kabir took on the challenge of processing waste by making his house zero waste in 2010. He founded Flycatcher Technologies LLP as a vehicle to realize the vision of a sustainable future where every house and organization processes its solid waste into resources.

Mr. Richard Dias

Founder & VP Business Development

Richard is a key figure driving responsible waste management in India. He has been advocating the principles of “Zero Waste” since early 2000’s, and was instrumental in setting up and managing the Integrated Waste Management facility at Saligao, Goa. His experiences in the field have resulted in creation of the tools needed for conveniently processing food waste at source. This approach is agreed to be the most economical and ecologically sensitive method forward and has been incorporated into the laws of India. Richard joined team flycatcher as a Founder in 2018

On the sale of the Digester and successful installation, we provide with one year no cost service maintenance to the client. In which we ensure proper waste feeding, site cleanliness and timely maintenance of the Biodigester. On completion of one year we handover the Rhino system to the Client giving them the option of signing up the Operations & Maintenance Contract with the applicable charges.

Annual Maintenance Contract

The Annual Maintenance Contract is a cost effective solution to prolong the life of your digester, keep it performing at its highest level of efficiency, and decrease the risk of failure and/or down time. In addition, it keeps your digester in good shape and allows for budgeting for the maintenance of the system.

Annual Operations Contract

Operations of the Rhino Digester carried out as per Flycatcher Technologies LLP (FTL) recommendations will ensure a smoother day to day functioning of the system.

Hand Holding

We also provide training to the Technicians hired for the routine maintenance of the Rhino Biodigester.
